The film is about the beauty of nature during the winter season of Terai. There are no protagonists here, save Time and Nature themselves. The film traces moments, events and light from dawn till dusk, all around the riverside village. The scenery surrounding the small beautiful Lachhka river is revealed through many frames, from dawn to dusk to a full moon night. Lachhka Dangir Katha or Riverside Reverberations is a short film based on the passing of time in the Terai villages. The rural settlement, the light from the sun, the mist and darkness form a totality to make and unmake the lives of the people living here. This is a story of the river as well as the village.
